Well with this announcement I know many will be sad. I myself am very disappointed and also very tired after putting so much time & effort into this. But recently to my surprise I’ve discovered that there might be a few people who are actually happy because of this come. Anyways, in the bigger perspective, I think this is a lost for Malaysia (as a country) & the community, regardless of which individual side you are on.

So now the counter for the number of Japanese music concerts to attend in Malaysia is back to ZERO for rest of 2014. Our best hope is probably still the annual JROCK no Tamashi! More news on that in the days to come 🙂 *Goes to watch X-Men: Days of the Future to recuperate*

Out of the ashes emerges the recently announced Anime Music Festival 2014 for Malaysia . It seems kind of short time frame… but by no means is the effort behind this production short work. For those of you who don’t organize events – a short time frame basically means “double time”, if you’re a musician 😛 but the work load is never a joking matter.

Istana Budaya once again opens its door to the younger generation, this time to the fans of anime, anime music and cosplay!

Appealing to fast-growing fans of the Japanese entertainment culture, ZI Communication Sdn. Bhd. will be presenting the ANIME MUSIC FESTIVAL at Istana Budaya on 24 and 25 May 2014 which aims to expose the vibrant genre to the public.

Mr. Md Isham Ishak, the general manager of ZI Communications Sdn Bhd says that they are seeking to improve the key performance indicator in Budaya Istana, and this ANIME MUSIC FESTIVAL would help to open a new space to transform Istana Budaya’s stage to an international stage.
