Greetings Friends & Fans of Cosplay & the ACG+M family!
What’s ACG+M you might ask? It stands for Anime, Comics, Games + Movies ! We’re all one big family, actually 🙂
So this group began with the passion & commitment to take the Malaysian cosplay scene to the next level, the international arena. The number of cosplayers & ACG+M friends have grown exponentially since 2006. The attendance alone at our local benchmark event, Comic Fiesta, is enough evidence to this. CF 2009 had over 8,000 paying attendees where as the recent CF 2010 had over 11,000+ from official sources. So, I’m sure we are not only capable of having many cosplayers but also many cosplayers with international caliber & we should ‘gun’ for that 🙂
Secondly, there are so many things out there in the world that segregate / divide us… some even put us in a situation where we’re against one another. So I would like for us in this COSPLAY-FUN Community* to try our very best to let our interest for Cosplay & ACG+M unite us rather than divide us even further. Gambarehmasu?
*Please note that this Facebook Group is mainly for Malaysians, Singaporeans & those willing to contribute to our local community. We are not ‘in’ it for the large numbers, so please understand, thanks.
[BTW, I view Malaysia & Singapore as people of the same culture, similar heritage & similar historical background. Not convinced? I mean just check out our food menu, man!!]
Lastly, I would like to use the analogy of our community being on board a ship, that’s on a journey to take the Malaysian cosplay scene to the international arena.
– We can’t fit everyone on this ship.
– If u’re on the ship, u have to help out some how
– We will go thru things together; bad weather, good weather, celebrations. etc
Mind you, I didn’t specify whether it’s a (sea) ship or a starship!?? Hehe… I’ll let you think more about it 😀

Hi!we’re gonna be having a lantern parade festival at our shopping center this 6th of September. But we’re planning to invite a few cosplayers to join the event and make it more interesting
