Event List 2016
Hi Everyone! Welcome to 2016!!
Thank you for the 94,000+ visit to our little blog. The flag counter on the right is now 30 months old has continued to be a good monitor to see where you folks are from. Even more to gauge the number of new first time visitors here. Cosplay-Fun was created to support & promote cosplay in Malaysia first… and I’m very glad hasn’t stopped there in just Malaysia. The is now our 6th year & with the exponential growth in number of cosplayers… I think about 60% of cosplayers will even remember who The Captain cosplayed let alone who The Captain is. Ironically, 2016 will officially mark my 10th year in the cosplay community! 
Anyways, starting & running this effort was never about becoming famous… or popular or even rich! It was about encouraging a passionate, positive & often misunderstood culture of cosplay. And when I mean cosplay I want to include everyone… from the guy with a life-presever + cap… posing like he is ‘out-of-time’ (Marty McFly), to the girl in an orange skirt + turtle neck sweater & black frame glasses (Velma from Scooby Doo) to the Mikasa (AoT), Miku, Luffy, Naruto, Mecha – the anime folks!
With this heart in mind Cosplay-Fun has delved into many facets of the community & scene. By far, our most exciting but challenging tasks was strifing to do what has not been done before example being the First Ever Cosplay Contingent to march in the Hari Wilayah Parade! Gathering the largest number of Batman & Gotham City villains at an official DC event etc. But on the other hand we also paid the price for attempting such things. The greatest contention comes from the very community you are helping! How typical?
Anyways, enough of the struggles, battles & travel tales of Obi Wan Kenobi – it’s time for Old Hermit Ben haha here is the new spiffy event list for 2015.
